The Orange County Health Department and the City of Orlando/Hankins Park will be hosting the 4th Annual Washington Shores 5K Walk and Health Fair on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon. It will be held at Hankins Park, located at 1340 Lake Park Court. The event is designed to raise awareness of modifiable health risks (particularly overweight and obesity) that contribute to chronic disease through engagement in and education about physical activity and nutrition.
Please plan on having your organization attend this event as we strive to make an impact on the health and well being of residents in Orlando and Orange County. Your group is encouraged to wear your company/organization’s logo. First, second and third place awards will be presented within age categories and organizations with the most participants will be recognized.
