Bike MS: Zimmerman MS Bike Ride Presented by Mack Cycle and Fitness
Start time 7am. 50/75/85/110/150 miles. “Break Away to Key Largo” for the premier cycling event of the year! The Ride is the largest and best supported two-day, fully catered cycling event in Florida, attracting over 3,000 cyclists from across the country. The BankUnited Center at the University of Miami is the start line on Day 1 and finish on Day 2. There are corporate sponsored rest stops every 4 to 9 miles along the way with food, beverages, nurse’s station, bike repair and great volunteers to cheer you along! John Pennekamp Coral Reef Start Park hosts the overnight location, complete with music, team and sponsor tents, catered meals, free camping and a festival-like atmosphere. The Saturday route leads you through the beautiful canopy-shaded streets of old Coral Gables towards the island beat of Key Largo. Sunday riders head to the Maroone Pit Stop at Homestead-Miami Speedway for a lap around the track, NASCAR style, before heading back to Coral Gables for the finale.
